As well as offering unparalleled opportunities for visitors to take in the cream of the world’s rare wildlife, London Zoo’s management also ensure that new and progressive events take place on a regular basis. 2007 will be a packed year for London Zoo and its visitors, with the ‘Scientist On The Sofa’ exhibition running through August, an early morning zoo walk launch and several events set aside for fellows of the Zoo. Topics under discussion include ‘Conversations On Conservation’, ‘Scientific Solutions And Challenges To Tiger Conservation’ and a reciprocal discussion with and about the renowned Zurich Zoo. New events for this year also include the fascinating ‘Zoo Night Safari’ and symposia on prioritisation of conservation and avian reintroduction. Added to the usual regular coffee mornings and meetings for industry professionals and public alike, and the Zoo continues to run a busy schedule of events for everyone who visits.
